I would really appreciate some advice or anything you know. I have been really thinking lately about becoming a beauty blogger or make YouTube videos. please if anyone has any tips, advice or anything they can tell me about this.

Making YouTube videos is great fun. I used to have a channel. Making videos can be time consuming. You must plan the videos, film many takes, and upload the videos. Something else to keep in mind is people can be real put downs. Beside that making YouTube beauty videos is a lot of fun.

Hello Lana if you do start YouTube videos here and instagram is the perfect place to start for once because if people love how you explain the products how they work for you texture long lasting quality for your money then blogging is great for you if you love doing makeup looks and everyone loves them and asks what your wearing or what looks you do or what skills you have it will really help you out :) with a good start if you do do a blog or instagram or a YouTube channel you could list them here in your profile and people will find you link your pages wish you luck gorgeous

I think that you shouldnt do it if you are not entirely sure as it is time consuming but mostly money consuming as you will need cameras tripods lights and all that stuff! If however you are sure then definetely put the name of your beauty channel on beautylish as I would love to see your videos! 😃

Wait until you can put out high quality videos. I can tell within five seconds if a YouTube guru is worth my time, and I judge it all on video presentation. If you're filming with a webcam, poor lighting, or using Windows Movie Maker to edit your videos, you're not going to get a lot of followers/subscribers. Simple as that. It doesn't matter how good the actual information you're putting out there is, if the video is poor quality- no one will care. I'm sorry for being so blunt and kinda harsh, I just see so many people fail at making videos and wanting to become a guru that they rush into it.

@anotnia oh I understand all that and I do have something already great to make my videos with on my MAC and I have a good camera also. I love doing makeup and I would love to start showing people the way I do everything. I'm just a big baby with things haha

It's kind of stupid and mean, but I've seen a lot of girls on here make videos.

Like how far do you expect to go with 3rd grade information? lol. Bring new things, there are a thousand eyeliner tutorials and I don't know why people want to make a thousand more. lol.
