Dha, the active ingredient in self tanner, smells after some time. It's just the way it is. The initial scent may not be so bad but you're still going to get that smell later on. You can use an odor neutralizing spray if its too bothersome- Swedish beauty bontanica I mist you is one you can order online or pick up at a tanning salon. It's meant for ato, after tan odor, much of which comes from the dha in bronzing tanning lotions.
