It's winter time and I was wondering if investing in a humidifier would help prevent dry skin. I use a facial moisturizer at night before bed. However, would a humidifier also help?

Yes!!! We have one in our bedroom and it helps big time.

Add a drop of glycerine to your nighttime moisturiser too (or just to three drops of water) & it'll help trap the moisture from the humidifier in your skin.

Thanks for the replies girl. Would a humidifier with cool air be just as beneficial? I much rather feel cool air compared to warm air.
