I've never been one to fill in my eyebrows, but lately I've had a change at heart and I'm thinking about purchasing brow powder or something along those lines.. I don't want extremely bold eyebrows, more soft. Any ideas on products for beginners :$?

Sally beauty supply sells a kit by ardell in the eyelash section. It has two shades to fill in your brows plus a highlighter that I don't use. Also it includes tiny tweezers, a sponge tipped applicator which I assume is for the highlighter, and a wonderful angled stiff brush for filling in brows. I don't think it costs more than $7 and the shades are all matte and last all day. I have spent way more on brow products that didn't come close to this one. If you can't find it, I believe Milani has a very similar product and they're both made in Germany. You can look at my pics to see the results...Hope this helps!

Gimme brow by benefit, it's like a tinted eyebrow mascara. Great for beginners, I use it coz I like the subtle change it makes :)

Buy an angled brush and some eyeshadow that matches your color. I recommend going to MAC and having them pick out a shadow for you. That's what I did when I first started.

I'm with Veronica. I first began to use elf brow kit but that just wasn't very pigmented. So I did research online to find a perfect eyeshadow for my black hair and tan skin. I use MAC eyeshadow in Brun and their angled brush... Absolutely love it.!
