Why does my nail polish bubble? Am I doing something wrong? :c

Are you shaking it? That can get air bubbles in it

Carie J.
Yes because it had separated :P

Try turning it upside down in your hand and rolling it back and forth in your palms. It will mix it all back up without adding air bubbles :)

I've noticed if I apply my polish with a fan on it tends to bubble - weird.

You should shake the bottle it puts air bubbles into it and might be causing it. Instead roll the nail polish bottle in your hands. :))

It's the brand. I always had bubbling issues with my cheaper brands regardless of how careful I was not to shake the bottles and the inverted rolling technique (which is one of the reasons why I stopped buying them). My higher end polishes never have issues, even if I shake them.

I used to have that issue when I used brands like bon-bon. Usually if u mix A LITTLE of nail polish remover it smooths it out.
