I have a lot of facial hair and I get my face threaded once a month. Does anyone know of any creams or lotions that helps. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried a aloe vera gel, it really helps to sooth skin :)

I second on the aloe vera. Also if you puree oatmeal in the blender with plain yogurt and apply on the affected areas it will soothe the irritation and bring down the redness.

You apply it as you would a mask and leave on for 10-15 minutes.

Or you can get GiGi calming lotion specifically made for after wax or threading Care.

I get me full face threaded as well from time to time and what helps me is definitely aloe Vera cooling gel for right after getting threaded and apply a toner after you wash your face for the next few nights. My eyebrow lady told me this trick in order to prevent any breakouts that may occur because it can take a toll on your skin. Hope that helps :)

I forgot to add, make sure the toner in alcohol free. I have one by Dickinson's and it has with hazel in it to help calm skin.

Studying beauty therapy and have completed my course with Style Parlour on Threading, and am currently in college learning about how to do other hair removal along with other things, the advice for aftercare/home care advice we're told to give is avoid perfumed lotions/cream make-up, UV rays, for 24hrs and shower in luke warm water, the best after care lotion is one specifically for post-hair removal e.g aloe vera gel, put it in fridge for best results and a cooling product, to reduce redness and irritation.
