Its made out of these thing that you use for little kids to build like a toy bin, book shelf, ect. Idk what there called. And yes it's hanging.

I love it! But just a tip, polish is best stored upright, so that the polish doesn't run into the cap and harden, making it almost impossible to open. But I love the idea, I've been meaning to make/buy something like this :)

Yeah, that's why I made sure all my polishes were tightly closed and the area where cap meets bottle was clean so that didnt happen. I tested to make sure bye keeping them upside down overnight and nothing happened!
