I try VERY hard to keep my hair healthy. I haven't used heat on it in years, I very rarely dye it anymore (except the roots), I deep condition and use hot oil treatments regularly, I'm very gentle while brushing, and I cut it regularly. My hair always feels great due to all this, but my ends always look so unhealthy. Even right after I chop off a few inches. The ends will feel silky smooth, but look fried (even though I never have split ends)...and I don't know why!! Please help :)

Try using coconut oil leave in conditioner right after you wash your hair. Just on your ends :)

Do you use a leave in conditioner? I bet your hair is just dry. Maybe get products meant specifically for moisturizing parched hair plus a good leave in.

It could be your diet. Drink lots of water and take multi vits.
