I really don't get why there are so many articles and this massive craze on juicing.
I know it's meant to detox, but you're body naturally does that anyway!
My mum is 51, has used no anti-aging or wrinkle creams, has never had any surgery or treatment and has never 'juiced' anything, and she hasn't got a wrinkle in sight! The juices that allegedly banish wrinkles are, frankly speaking, crap.
Why can't we just eat healthily and exercise, like everyone has always done? Surely all this juice (especially citrus) would rot your teeth if the amount people recommend drinking are what they actually are drinking!
I have never seen why juicing is so amazing, I'm a happy, healthy 15 year old who goes to gymnastics twice a week and walks to and from school. Surely I, and many others, are living proof that you do not need to 'juice' to be healthy, all you need is a healthy diet and exercise!
I know it's better than drinking supermarket mass-produced juice and contains better stuff, but if you really like fruit that much that you feel the need to juice it, why not just actually eat the fruit whole?

OMG Hannah! I totally agree with you!! I mean, I can't disrespect if people like juicing or not, but still, I don't understand why there's just too many of these articles about juicing. I mean to be honest, I don't know much about juicing, but there are other people who I guess like juicing. And I can't change what people want to do with their wrinkles. In fact, some people love their wrinkles, so they probably never had any experience with juicing. Anyway Hannah, I can totally respect your opinion ☺

The hype behind paleo diets are more for those who suffer from diseases or from cancer.
If you visit these forums you will read about patients who were due to die from cancer and by trying out paleo diets and eating non processed foods were left cancer free. Perhaps you should visit medical forums and read about the medical benefits of eating in a healthy manner, more information is available there. I used to 'eat healthy ' like you and by changing my diet altogether lots of things have improved. ( Skin, eyesight, energy, metabolism , hair condition and length, nails. )
Granted I wouldn't say 'Just cause my mom hasn't done all this crap it means it doesn't work.' You don't know if it ever did because she never tried, it is very much possible that it could have helped her. My dad has six herniated disk and a bad waist, he began eating my food due to hunger one day and now he constantly feels it because it makes him feel loads better.
Be open minded about it, there is hype for a reason 😊

I think that people just need stuff to cling to, you know? Exercise and being healthy are hard for most people, and people are willing to believe in anything that means they don't have to put in effort.

Its a lot more efficient to have a juice that contains multiple greens and fruits than finding a way to incorporate eating all of them daily. and your body apparently digests liquids better as well. I don't juice, but my mom used to, and it did help her as she couldn't work out but tried to eat somewhat healthy.

I totally agree that it's ridiculous to think juice will banish wrinkles and other imperfections. On the contrary, I have tried juices from specific cleanse companies, and they are the best juices I have ever tasted. No added sugar or preservatives makes for a delicious drink. They are also probably pretty healthy for you (although not low in calories) because of all of the vitamins. Although they're probably pretty good for you, I would never expect a juice to make a visible effect on anyone's body. I think it is ridiculous to spend hundreds of dollars on juice cleansing.

@Sarah, It cost virtually nothing to grow your own fruits and vegetables. And they are more delicious.
I personally don't believe in people who juice and use fruits and veggies from the grocery store. Not all fruits and veggies grow year long, and I am surrounded by farmland so I personally see them pick up green, little tomatoes. I asked one of the farmers why, turns out they pick em out young, and basically store them in a room with a bunch of toxic gases ( this is what Burger King does to preserve their food, I have personally witnessed it and I don't think its cool that a gas is so harmful that those inhaling it were passing out ) and then when they are ready to be sold to the public their age is basically sped up. They are put in another room, filled with gases. It's kind of disgusting to think that's what so many people eat, but it also shows why we are suddenly so diseased ridden.
