The foundation I'm using is a medium color but it makes my face look orange. I use light powder to try and fix it but it makes me look really powdery. Any ideas/ways to fix this?

You can mix a small amoun with moisturizer and then apply it. A smaller amount of foundation with a higher quantity of foundation will help minimize the boldness of the orange.

There's a video on YouTube on how to fix that! Get the opposite color eyeshadow or food color (sounds weird but it works) and put a little bit in t and mix it well and it should be fine.

I have numerous amounts of friends who have used the Dream Matte Mousse, and it makes ALL of them look orange, no matter their skin colour. I'd buy a different product if I were you, like rimmel.
