Gel, liquid liners are hard to use but pencil isnt great for a cat eye.

I prefer liquid liner in a pen form when doing a winged/cat liner.

You can use pencil, it's what I do. You just need an eyeliner brush with it ^_^

Gel is my preference but you can use liquid or pencil as well.
