For a long time I was afraid to wear any makeup because I was afraid it would break me out, since I have very sensitive and acne-prone skin. I've recently tried a powder foundation, but I find that it doesn't give me much coverage. Does anyone know of any good bb creams that have sheer/medium coverage that has a matte finish, and doesn't break you out?

^Agree, garnier bb cream is great and there is one especially designed for oily skin :) And if you want higher coverage you can try to put after bb cream powder foundation, which will also make your skin more matte.

Especially*
I forgot to mention that the texture is a little bit dry and hard to blend so I reccomend using moisturizer as base :)

I just bought the rimmel bb cream and I love it! I set mine with my rimmel stay matte powder and it works like a charm to control the shine and looks great! Good coverage but feela very light.

I think maybe CC cream would be better for you?

Try the tarte 12 hour primer/bb cream, it's perfect because all the ingredients are natural and it don't have harsh chemicals. The bb cream has pretty good coverage too.

I've got super oily skin and the maybelline bb cream (green/blue tube) works well for me, doesn't make my face an oil slick and only needs setting with a little powder. And like most bb creams it has a light / medium coverage.

Personally I find bb creams suck for oily skin, they always make me look extremely oily. I also have very sensitive skin and my personal favourite is L'Oreal True Match Foundation. It has a light/medium coverage and it feels so silky smooth on the face and it doesn't clog pores and doesn't break you out and I found that it starts off with a matte finish and then turns into a nice dewy finish throughout the day.
