If you think you look good, who cares what anyone else thinks? Don't let it get to you! :)

I think some people have different opinions and they may not normally wear what you wear. Some may say that's too much makeup because they usually don't ever wear makeup some may say it's not enough...you're never going to please anybody so I say wear what you like and what makes you feel good! If it's putting on 10 pounds of makeup, then be it! Hope I'm not rambling lol😂😂😁😁

I have this problem and it's prolly bc all my friends wear like powder foundation not liquid and they don't do a full face like I do but just ignore them or tell them it's really not a lot.

I get that sometimes. Mostly because where I'm from people don't really care how they appear. So if someone is wearing make-up and dressed nicely, they kind of think 'what's the point? or why bother?' Its annoying because I always like to look my best, and I kinda get a little bit of Crap for it. But if one day I decide I don't want to put effort into my appearance, I get questioned why I didn't do my hair. It's frustrating, but just do what pleases you.

When people talk about you it most likely means they are jealous. Plus who cares what tey think. Be you(:

I get that too sometimes. My step mother teases me that whenever I go somewhere I always have to look my best. And whether that be a full face of make up or any makeup she says that. But I think there's nothing wrong with wanting to look your best. So I just brush it off when people say "you're wearing too much makeup" or "why are you even wearing makeup".
People are going to say what they want at the end of the day, so the best advice is to just keep on keepin' on!

I get that too. I'm in high school and a lot of people ask me why I "try too hard for school". I personally ignore them because to me, I'm going out in public and I want to look my best. Some days I'll just go to school dressed in sweats and no makeup except some concealer, mascara and lipgloss. But I personally think it's always acceptable to look the way you want :)

I don't think wearing a lot of makeup means that a girl is self conscious.
makeup to some is a form of expression. to some it may seem like a lot of makeup or too little but it all depends on their personal preference. I get that sometimes when I wear winged liner maybe because a lot of girls in my town don't wear a lot of makeup.

Honestly I don't care if someone thinks I'm wearing too much makeup. I wear a full face everyday for work. I work in a salon and I'm sure my clients appreciate me looking on point. even off days I still put on foundation/blush/eyebrows/mascarra and always lipstick. its my face and I feel freaking fabulous with it. wear what you want and pay no mind to what others say :-)

Even if I do a full face the only person who ever says that to me is my hubby because he is used to me walking around the house without makeup and he doesn't like dramatic eye looks but he does love a good lippie :P but no one else has ever told me I wear too much makeup in fact my roomie has told me that even when I do a full face look it still looks very natural to her - so I guess it just depends on what look you are going for (most of the time I am going for a natural look) but I guess it also depends on who is saying it - but I personally have never experienced this issue with anyone other than the hubby and he only says it when I do a dramatic eye look.

People will forever have back handed compliments and unnecessarily stupid opinions which are aimed to put you down. If you get told when your just wearing mascara than that just shows that who ever is telling you is either jelouse or a psycho lool. Personally I do not care for people's opinions when it comes to my makeup neither should you. Mascara to me is no makeup makeup and tbh there's no point of stressing. Just accept what you like Etc and fudge everybody else's negative opinions!

I have experienced this before. It all depends on the type of coverage you wear. Because now I started wearing a bb cream during the day and I get a really natural glow. And at night I'll wear a foundation.

It's most likely an age thing. not sure how old you are, but you look kind of young so maybe people are thinking youre too young to be wearing any make up at all. I'm not saying I agree or anything, just that that could be a reason behind the comments youre getting.

If YOU are comfortable with the amount of makeup you are wearing then who cares! I love having a full face because I feel good about themself that way, don't change because of someone elses opinion.

Of course. Girls usually want to accuse other girls of wearing too much makeup. Everyone makes it seem like a deadly sin or something. But girls who wear like pounds of makeup say that to me and I wear like mascara, concealer, and lipgloss. Just ask them about their makeup usage. And if it's a boy, they just say that cause they are boys. Good luck!

I don't think you look like you're wearing a lot of makeup in any of your photos so I don't understand why people are hassling you! But yeah, it depends on what people are used to. Where I'm from, most girls did not wear makeup in middle school and very minimal in high school. I remember thinking this one group of girls wore sooo much makeup (not in a bad way, it just stood out to me) but I'm pretty sure it was just mascara and eyeliner.

Everybody's going to have their own opinions, I know girls who've told me I was wearing a lot of makeup when it was just mascara and a bit of eyeliner on my upper lash line lool xD just wear what you're comfortable with and what you feel like wearing&what makes you feel pretty :) maybe they're just jealous too! :p either way somebody's opinion shouldn't change the way you want to look, people will ALWAYS have things to say, whether they're good or bad. Hope I helped! 😘

Sometimes it's about the balance and colours, e.g if you are only wearing powder but it's not the right shade it can look like you are covered in makeup. As an example I wear an insane amount of make every day coz I love it and I'm a makeup artist so it's like my advertising! the other day my friend was omg look at that girl she is wearing waaaay too much makeup (the girl had like no makeup on but was wearing blush in a coral shade that didn't suit her) I was just like um hello have you met me? Anyway my advice would be to firstly ignore it but if it bothers you then maybe get your makeup done at a makeup counter and see if they what colours etc.they choose.

Ppl need to shut the hell up and go sit down somewhere, pissing me off, lol.
I don't know why ppl are so concerned and obsessed over what someone else has on their face. I wear a full face every time I wear MU because that's what I like, I like how it looks as well as coming up with/trying out different looks, plus I'm skilled with MU so why not?. Ppl don't ever tell me anything about the amount of MU I wear but when I'm around other women I do feel the tension/hate off of them, they stare, whisper to friends, roll their eyes for no reason, just do things that scream "I am not at all happy w/myself, I have low self esteem and am hating on you because you have skills and I don't " lmao :D. (Guys on the other hand give me compliments, think its cool and even ask questions). I don't even give em' the time of day. Hold your head up high for all the haters to see your beautiful face and keep a moving :)

Nathalie, your opinion of makeup is very narrow. It only allows for one scenario and excludes any artistic expression.
Janelle, wear whatever you like. Have fun. It's makeup, it's not serious, do what makes you feel good. Like Elisa says, hold your head high and ignore everyone else.
