I've been losing hair a lot and my split ends are getting worse but I haven't used any heat or anything so I was wondering if it's because I sleep with it just a ponytail. Is that worse? Do braids actually help?

Pony tails can cause breakage, so a braid will help.
Get your split ends cut off as well so that they discontinue from splitting up the hair shaft.

I think sleeping with your hair down would be best for it.

Yeah does anybody know if it's better to sleep with it down or in a braid?

Down for short hair, in a pineapple for long hair.

What does in a pineapple mean??

^ I'm assuming she meant the ponytail.

Yes! When it's in a braid it doesn't break as much, when you sleep with it out you roll around in your sleep and that's how it breaks so it's best to braid it.

A braid is a perfect protective hairstyle. Wear it loosely n get a spray bottle, fill it with vitamin E oil n lightly spray on your hair (before you braid) it will help repair your hair. (:

Renay is correct, a pineapple is a pony tail that sits on the top of your head. Use a scrunchie for it.
