Please Don't use mane and tail it doesn't work at all. It weighs down your hair giving it the appearance of longer hair.

Drink lots of water, don't use heat, take biotin pills, deep condition, put oils on your hair.

Hair growth is based on genetics, the health of you & your hair. so the only way to promote growth is to keep yourself & your hair in good health.
Do not just go taking pills (including biotin). You can end up with side effects serious enough to put you in the hospital. always ask your doctor first.
Some tips to promote growth:
get trims regularly (split ends will go higher up the longer you wait & then you'll have to cut off more hair)
drink a lot of water
use as little heat as possible
always use a heat protectant, I recommend It's a 10
don't brush your hair while it's wet
do hot oil treatments (I use coconut oil)
use a deep conditioner (I use Aussie 3 minute miracle)
use hair masks (store bought or diy)
try a leave in conditioner
keep in mind that there are no miracle products or methods. good luck in growing your hair! :)

As for mane n tail.. please don't use it. if you want all the info on why not to use it, ask Kitty K. but in short, it does nothing for growth. just gives the illusion while damaging your hair in the process.

Coconut oil has done absolute wonders for me. As long as you're not using heat on your hair for a while and oiling your hair once every week, within a month or two your hair should be long and thick as hell lol!

Mane n tail worked wonders for me!! It didn't weigh down my hair one bit!! I stoped using heat products for a whole summer only when it was a good excuse! I put my hair up in tight buns and tight tight braids at night! My mom did them super tight it made me cry! ); but it worked!
