I've been thinking about getting a couple of the Kat Von D shadow palettes, has anyone tried them? What are your favorites?

Yes yes yes get them you won't regret it her shadows are very pigmented and buttery you won't be disappointed... I have the monarch, chrysalis, and the true romance palette in saint and love them all

You should go for it her shadows are great her blushes arent bad either... Her foundation is a bit to thick for my taste, if you get them let me know how you like them I hope you like them as much as I do, if you want I can swatch the monarch palette for you if you wan I would do sinner but I don't have it I have the saint palette lol.

I have her foundation and I agree on it being too thick! you have me convinced on the shadow palettes though!

I happen to own four of her palettes, and they're all completely lovely. Monarch and Sinner are two of my favorites, but I honestly prefer Monarch. The colors of Sinner are all very similar, so if you're trying to create a look using the grey side, all of the colors tend to muddle together. Separately, however, they're totally lovely, they're all so pigmented and smooth. I love how little product is required to create a lovely, vibrant look. If you're going to try one, definitely start with the Monarch. The colors are not only gorgeous, but so soft and buttery that they blend effortlessly. I can't imagine a better introduction to KVD, actually. And I do agree with Lili, the blushes are also pretty wonderful.

@rikki you should definitely try them but if you have doubts you can go check them out at the store and if thats not possible you can always return it you just can't lose lol

YESSS. I have the all mattes Ladybird Palette and its beautiful! Plus the Adora True Romance palette which is all smokey colors.
