So I have never shaved my legs before...Ever. I am almost 18 years old and I have never used a razor or wax or hair removal cream on my legs before and some people find that hard to believe! People call me liars and I can swear to you I'm not! I just wanted to share with all you beauties how I keep my legs hair free:)

My mom also doesn't have hair on her legs. I got it from her:) We used to live in Hawaii so we were at the beach constantly and we found out that the sand at the beach helped to exfoliate our legs and pretty much stunt hair growth. Well since then I've moved to Arizona where I have no accessible beach and a couple years ago I finally started growing hair on my legs (yikes!) so...I decided to try exfoliating once a week with a homemade scrub. Two years later, here I am with absolutely no hair on my legs and arms whatsoever:) I have been using only sugar and lime juice once a week in the shower and my hair growth is completely gone!! I feel like everyone should know about this:) If you don't believe me here's a picture of my leg now:)
Hope this tip helps some of you out!

@ Ruth, I use about a cup of sugar and half a lime for my whole body:)

@Jacqlyn it took about a year for it to completely stop! I just exfoliated and after a long time the hair just went away but my leg hair like was already barely there so I don't know if for other people they might have to shave first..sorry I don't know:(

This is sooo cool I'd definitely want to try it out. Does it work on thicker hair? Also would you be able to explain the process (how long it should stay on etc) also does it remove the hairs or just eventually make them thinner&stop growing? Thanks in advance& for sharing this!! ☺️

@Jacqlyn if you try it please let me know if it worked for you too! I hope it does:)

@Gabby I really don't know as this is just my own personal experience but I would think maybe shaving them initially and then continually doing the exfoliating..I'm not sure haha I barely had any leg hair to start with! I'm sorry I'm not really help with that because I don't know I never shaved:/

But I can definitely help with telling you the process I used:)

So I'd mix the cup of sugar and half a lime together in a bowl with a spoon and bring those two with my in the shower. After letting the hot water open up my pores after about like 5 minutes I'd use the spoon to apply the scrub on my legs and arms and massage it into my skin and let it sit for about 3-5 minutes and then rinse it off with hot water and then cold water at the end of rinsing off:)

I hope it works for you if you try it!

Ohh me too :') I don't grow to much leg hair to begin with, but if I don't shave I'll get a few noticeable long hairs so maybe this will do the trick I hate shaving my legs.

@Em I also used honey before but I don't know if it'll be the same!

My mom never shaves her legs anymore because her hair stopped growing but she literally smdid nothing I think its her genes because my grandmother is the same way

It might just be you Hun - this method might not work for everyone - there are certain people out there who are just not hairy by nature and they rarely ever grow any kind of body or facial hair (I know a lot of Filipino men who never grow leg hair let alone facial hair) so it may not work for everyone - I exfoliate with sugar but it doesn't stop my leg hair from growing

Thank you! The reply helped a lot ☺️

@Mari yeah same here that's why I started using this technique because I don't have lots of hair just a few thin long ones here and there!

I'm with Diana. It's mainly going to be genetics. I have super thick fast growing hair thanks to my father (terrible thing to get passed down lol) who can shave at 6am and by 10 am he has stubble. But my mom shaves her legs like once a week and doesn't get stubbly for 3-4 days.
I exfoliate with sugar scrubs every 3 days and have for 5 years but my hair is still here.

@Diana I understand that I just thought some people might want to try it. And even if it doesn't completely stunt hair growth it'll at least make the hair somewhat thinner and their legs smoother. I'm not claiming that this will work for everyone because I know part of the reason it worked for me was hereditary.

@Gabby you are so welcome:)

@Alyx I know my genetics have a lot to do with it but it still might work for some people out there so I posted this in hopes of helping other people who want to try it out too. This is just my experience and I know it won't work for everyone out there
