Aha dw technically you're not supposed to pop them but most of us just can't help it... 😂

I'm pretty sure that popping pimples causes the bacteria inside to go deeper or something. I would ask Jacqlyn w. about this, she's very knowledgable

Yes Shiro is right, it pushes the bacteria deeper into the skin, thus meaning that pimple may not be gone for good and will probably be coming back. It leaves a scar for sure.

It will leave a scar, and will probably return. I have a scar under my lip from continuously popping it whenever it would come back.

A safer way to get rid of the gunk inside (please don't use the "p" word!) is to use a warm clean washcloth over it and keep gently massaging it with soft movements. The steam and heat will push out the gunk, the washcloth will remove it. Just remember that afterwards you should treat the area like a cut and disinfect it. This works for me, I can't guarantee that it'll work for you.

Put a dab of listerine on it...the alcohol in it will dry it up a and cause it to fade
But it will sting a little...

I wouldn't recommend putting alcohol on your face..no offense. Don't use toothpaste either

You could pop it and then clean it after with alcohol but it's going to sting like crazy

I annoyingly pop any sign of pimple on my face, and I wish I didn't. I've got pale pink scars from god knows when from popping pimples!

When I pop my mines I don't have scarring. Guess everyone is different.

Popping pimples spreds bacteria thus creating more pimple. I dud pop my pimples but have gotten out of the habit. Some of mine have scared while others haven't so it depends on the person and what your face feels like doing that day. Its perfectly fine to not pop then as they will heal and go away on their own.
