Turmeric will probably stain your skin but it's only temporary of course.

I don't imagine it will literally turn your legs yellow so long as it's washed out properly.

Tumeric will stain! How yellow the skin turns depends on how long you leave it on. While skin colour can return to normal in a few days if it gets onto your nails it'll take forever. Lol.

Turmeric stains when you use it in large quantities. M from India and yes its an age old method used here. The ratio of turmeric to rock salt should be 1:8.. It stains your nails but not your skin coz its mentioned wash it off :)
