Texturizing spray or cream??

Hey girls!
There's a lot of new things I wanna try with my new pixie cut but the stylist told me I need to get something (either a spray or cream) that texturizes. So, what products do you recommend? With this short of hair is it better to use a spray or a cream? Also I would love if you recommended some brands (nothing too expensive though I need to be able to get it at the drugstore)

Try not your mothers beach babe texturizing spray it adds some texture and it smells very good it also comes in cream form it's like 5$ you can get it at cvs and urban outfitters

I've always liked garnier hair products, I would look there for something!
