Out Of The Ordinary Hair Colour.

Hello lovelies, what are you experiences with people with kind of crazy coloured hair? I'm talking pastel pink, purple or turquoise so not too bright. is it okay to get jobs & stuff? and what do you think of them in general? I know I have so friends who hate anyone with weird coloured hair and won't talk to them because it's odd but what do you guys thinks?

I had an unnatural hair colur for the past few years, ranging from red to white to now turqouise and a lot more. I can't understand any judgemental people who think it's okay to say "oh she has a crazy hair colour so she must be crazy". kinda dumb.

And for the jobs: any creative places are totally fine, but of course working in a bank or as a waitress in a noble restaurant won't be that easy...

I agree with Julia. I find it pretty silly when people will judge another person from the colour of their hair, I'm naturally red head and I had discrimination my whole life for it like I was another "species" so to speak so to me having "unnatural" hair colour is average for me, I haven't had my natural colour in over 6 years from being lots of different colours and I see no problem with it, only when the person doesn't look tidy I think it throws people off and they always seem to assume the worst just from a hair colour lol.

It think they are perfectly fine. I have friends that do it and I have done it before where my hair was like a rainbow.
But I can understand the work places where certain jobs there shouldn't be colorful hair.

I think it looks awesome! It shows that you're unique and don't care what others think! I think having a job with colored hair doesn't matter. I agree with Shaye and Shannon ;)

I really think they are becoming mainstream right now, all the major brands are creating unnatural colors for consumers! Having RED hair has always been a bucket list item for me, and I finally asked myself "Why are you not trying this??" My answers all had something to do with what others thought, and though I do care about those around me- what they think about my hair color isn't their choice. There's something about getting old that's good, along with the not fun aging stuff- you get these cool epiphanies that make you feel free! Call it a midlife crisis- but I'm loving my red hair! Although some don't care for it, a lot of gals are loving it! I really suggest Special Effects Veggie based hair dye, and diluting it with conditioner will give you an amazing pastel. Their Atomic Pink is considered the best out of all on the market (professional and not brands) they are so conditioning and lovely!! Do it and enjoy!!😘💕

It makes people look at you more that's for sure! I got a lot of compliments when I dyed my hair but also a lot of weird looks but I loved it and even though you spend more money on colored hair than natural hair most of the time, it's really fun for me to have and it makes me happy so hell with what anyone else thinks. Do you.

My first year, no second year, of middle school I dyed colorful steaks in my hair. With some jobs, like fast food or gas stations, I'm pretty sure they are laid back about it. Now an actual profession where there is a "professional atmosphere" it might be a bit more difficult. I personally have no problem with crazy coloured hair, as it is a form of self expression. Hahahaha I remember when I had my hair dyed, I was that kid everyone bullied so once my teacher asked the class what they thought about coloured hair in the school and this one chick was like "I don't think it should be allowed because it could like be a sign of a gang". It makes me quite angry when people look down their noses at anyone who is different in anyway. Like what makes you so high and mighty? ugh that irritates me.

I have had every color in the rainbow in my hair. Literally. I have had rainbow hair. I suggest Special Effects or Pravana for hair dye. As to if people didn't like me because of my hair, that was not the case for me. I had people come up to me and always compliment it and ask what I used. Even my friends who were like yours, who strayed away from people with unnaturally colored hair, ended up getting used to it and even liking it.
