I was just wondering, could I put regular conditioner in my hair, leave it in and rinse it out in the morning? would it make my hair really soft?

I wouldn't it will leave oil build up in your hair and it might cause dandruff. :) If you want it like that try putting in a VERY SMALL amount of product in your hair. Also try braiding it so its softer when you take it out :)

I haven't tried it, but why not? I honestly don't see anything could go wrong, but then again I haven't tried it. If I were to do it I would wrap a towel around my hair and clip it in place so you don't make your bed all greasy. Hope I helped :)

It might, on the other hand you could wake up with a greasy mop. I would just stick to oils, and leave in conditioner to keep it soft.

If you try it, you should only put it on the middle to ends or the hair and not on the scalp to avoid clogging the hair follicles.

Well I just meant conditioner on the ends of my hair. Problem is, I don't have any fancy oils or leave in treatments (I don't like leave in stuff anyway) so that's why I asked. Ah what the hell, life is a live and learn experience. I'll try it anyway lol.

I have done that before and it makes hair really oily ( and I have very dry hair) if you want your hair soft I recommend CHI Silk Infusion.

I've done that before and my mum actually puts conditioner in a spray bottle with water and uses it so I don't think it'll matter if you wash it out the next day :) if your hair starts to feel different though after a few hours I'd wash it out. I know it'll dry (the conditioner) and it feels a bit icky but I've always found when rinsed out it feels soft :)

I do it all the time, I wash it out in the morning. I wash out about 70% of my conditioner, braid my hair for bed and off to sleep. Makes it so easy to de-tangle in the morning... It was an actual tip I learned from John Freida.
I only did this ( and literally only that ) for about a year after being done with heat damage from chemical straighteners... when I straightened my hair again with my iron my hair was very silky and soft.

I do it too. However my hair is extremely kinky so it doesn't behave the way straight or loose wavy hair.

I do that every once and a while and rinse it out with shampoo and conditioner in the morning.

If you leave it in overnight, make sure you rinse it thoroughly in the morning so that way your hair does not stay too oily and it is fully cleansed but still conditioned.

To make you hair soft (I know it sounds daft), whilst in the shower do your shampoo as normal, then place your conditioner on, then place a plastic bag round your hair then a warm towel. Leave on for aprox 15 mins then rinse off hair with cold water!! Hope this helps

Haha Carys, I actually already do that because of the length of my hair, it always gets wet after I put in the conditioner. I actually put in some African hot six oil in my hair last night. My hair is soooooooooooooooooooooooo soft. I definitely needed an oil treatment.

I did em it's okay like only put it on the end of your hair and turn your head upside down and the tie it up but I suggest dry the top of your hair so it won't be oily or greasy 😊
