I apoligize for another hair question but I was wondering if because my hair is brittle, dry and getting split ends on the bottom if I should try shampoo and conditioning everyday (my friend does and its always silky)?

Shampooing & conditioning depend on the person. some people can do it more often than others. keep in mind that washing it too often can strip the natural oils from your hair, which could make your scalp start over producing the oils. have you tried hot oil treatments, deep conditioners, or leave in conditioners?

I wash mine everyday and my hair is as bleached as it comes, I just make sure to use moisturising treatments or shampoo and conditioners. I also make sure I put oil In it whenever it's been washed :)

It's not good to wash your hair everyday as it can lead to brittle and dry hair... Which therefore causes split ends! If you wash your hair 2-3 times a week your hair health will improve as long as you look after it. I would only recommend washing your hair everyday if you feel it needs it or it gets really itchy, oily, etc. 😊

@Danielle M. I have been washing my hair every other day and its still splitting and I've been using oil, deep conditioners, no heat and everything but its still breaking.

If I were you Chelsea I would wash it every few days. If it gets oily use some dry shampoo spray to get rid of the grease. The longer you go between washes the better! I would recommend doing some home remedy treatments every week or every few weeks, which improves the condition of your hair so much! I personally use coconut oil for my home treatment, and I find it helps so much! Also, if you don't use too much heat on your hair and use heat protectors when you do 😊

It doesn't work for most people. Hmmm... Are you rough with your hair? Do you get frequent trims?

Is there anything that you're unsure is good or bad for your hair? Such as towel drying

I wouldn't wash it everyday.. Because your hair gets kind of used to be washed every day, and then it gets greasy really fast. I wash my hair every second day, or third, and my hair doesn't get greasy before the third day :) when you wash your hair you remove all the oils that you produce, and then your hair needs to produse the oil as fast as possible, so that's why your hair gets greasy faster...
Sorry for my bad english! :) I'm from Norway
