Liquid! Gel can be a bit smudgy^^ and pencil won't give you that extra sharp precision like that of a liquid liner!

Liquid is my number one and then gel, like the ladies above said gel usually smudges and its hard to find a good one. I think liquid looks the best and lasts longer.

I like them all haha. I think all of them can last if you don't have much oily lids. I use eye primer. It makes a difference in my eyes for it not smudging as much. Though I mostly use pencil and liquid.

I personally like pencil and liquid, you can be more precise with liquid though. Pencil will stay a long time but sometimes it smudges depending on the brand and formula

Gel, I highly recommend the maybelline one because for me it will not smudge or come off until you take it off.

Liquid probably stays the longest but I noticed some give off a shine. the last time I used pencil I was like 15 so I don't know. I use gel, it looks more matte and dark and I like that.

Liquid can be messy for me to apply but it lasts the longest. Gel comes in second for me.

Gel is really hard to start off with but I find when I wear liquid it comes off so easy. Liquid is really good for practice and it can last long depending on what your doing.

Liquid- Kat Von D
Pencil- L'Oreal Infallible or Sephora Waterproof Twist Up.
I use liquid and pencil every single day. I do like gel for winged liner and the Maybelline works great but it doesn't last. I recommend Inglot or Bobbi Brown. Its honestly a personal preference so you just have to figure out which works best for you, like I said though I use both pencil (bottom) and liquid (top lids) everyday.
