I think it really depends more on the undertones of your skin and the undertones of the lipstick.

Not necessarily because I'm a medium/ olive skin tone and deep fuchsias and dark berry look good on me but I can not pull off a dark apricot color or really any oranges. I love red lips on people with fair skin tones.

Tbh, I don't think so. I'm dark and I (And see plenty others) pull off colors from the medium- olive category.

I don't think its completely accurate but just gives a note general idea. Because almost any color skin tone can pull off any color!

Not really,I'm medium and I can pull off light pink, brownish red, berry, dark fuchsia or light peach.I think it all comes down to undertones as well.I'm neutral warm so I can pull off most lipsticks!

I'm fair, but I love red lippie on me. Beige, not so much, I look a little scary with it.

I've fair skin and light pink lipstick looks awful on me! It depends on the individual and shade.

The fair section is kinda off...those colours would look terrible on me.

Undertones are the most important aspect regarding lipstick. thats why any person can wear red, but its about finding the right shade
