I originally wanted to try the Kat Von d lock it foundation but I keep hearing that it's very cakey. Do you guys have any other foundation suggestions? I'm going shopping in the morning.

The Urban Decay NAKED is my favorite so far. The MUFE HD foundation is also good along with the Estée Lauder double wear.

My favorite is the KVD actually. tarte is my second favorite. I have super sensitive dry skin though.

It does if I'm in a rush. I stipple it on with a brush rather than rub with my fingers and that helps. You only need the tiniest bit too. If you put to much on, it'll cake up fast. But if you start off with a little bit, I use like half a pump usually. As long as I moisturize before, it doesn't cake up. I've only been using it for a month though.
I'd go to sephora and ask for a bunch of samples of different foundations before buying any

Oh noes! Which primer do you use with it? I find generally that can help or hurt how my foundation looks. Like my Dior BB cream + my Smashbox primer = super shiny face

You could always ask for samples and then buy online? Or if you can, go in with no foundation and ask for half and half with two foundations to test them out and do a bit of shopping or walking around so you can test them out a bit more.

Yeah I did not like the Naked foundation no matter what moisturizer, primer, brush/sponge, powder, and setting spray I used, it always ended up making my face look muddy and dull and I never received the the best coverage... Anyways I suggest that you try samples before buying!! I love the Makeup Forever HD (and are you sure the colors don't look right on you because I thought their was a large variety...), Nars Sheer Glow and Matte are great but they broke me out (this is another reason to try samples), and the KVD might be great for you it just depends on what moisturizer and primer you are using. I understand your Sephora is far away but definitely get samples before wasting your money, and then order online, thats what I always do cause mine is an hour away. Clinique also makes really great foundations too.
