I use Dawn dish soap & olive oil.
I usually put both ingredients on a dinner plate, using more dish soap than olive oil. I then swirl my brushes around in the mixture, really working it into the bristles. I rinse them until the water runs clean, then leave them upside down to dry c:
hope that makes sense & helps a little :p xx

Just don't use hot water, it will dissolve the glue that holds the bristles together :)

Baking soda works well when mixed with water to form a paste. I also use a spray from target just to freshen them up between uses! I forgot the name of it but its a purple liquid!

I use shampoo or hand soap. I put some in the palm of my hand and then swirl around the wet brush in there. It really is satisfying to see all the makeup "dirt" coming out!

I use the makeup store brush soap. I wet the brushes, swirl them around on the soap and then swirl it up and down my fingers to work the soap into every hair. Then I wash the soap off. I also use the MAC brush cleaner for spot cleaning my brushes.
