Diys, honestly, can be very risky. They have benefits, but only a few.

But a tea tree oil mask is great for blemish-prone skin.

I find the oil cleansing method has worked great for my blackheads but be careful which oils you choose if you are acne prone or have sensitive skin.

Diana T. I'm with Amber J. On this one...What oil did you use? I have problem skin too and I am very nervous with the thought of putting oil on my skin!🙀

Yes I was very skeptical at first as well I also have sensitive acne prone oily/combo skin on top of psoriasis so I was hesitant but I learned that certain oils are not as bad for this skin type like jojoba oil, tea tree oil and I also like maracuja oil in my mix but here is what I use: 40% castor oil, 40% jojoba, 10% the Dior cleansing oil (mainly for emollients), 5% tea tree and 5% maracuja.

And I started by testing it and using it one night a week as a deep cleansing method that I did before I shower at night and it has been good as just that a weekly deep cleaning method it's great for sucking out all the dirt n oil stuck in my pores.

I have had good luck with queen Helene's mint julep mask, which is clay based. It's sold at drug stores, large chain stores like walgreens, and beauty supply stores alike!

Aesthetic trick... desincrustation...
What you need
Baking soda
Distilled water
Which hazel
Cotten hand towels
We usually do desincrusration with galvanic current, but it can be steamed onto skin for 7 to 10 min.
Mix teasppon of baking powder with 8oz distiled water, use cotton to apply to skin. Using towel soaked hot water and squeeze excess out, as much as possible. Place over face. Replace with new when that on cools. Do for 7 to 10 min.
This breaks down clogs, then extractions are super easy... they slide right out, with little pressure... its makes clog soft...
Wash face and MUST use which hazel after... its the best way to rebalance ph level, since tge desincrustation alters it. Its supose to.

I agree with Diana, the OCM (oil cleansing method) is the best.
