Return of the stupid zits! I have a party this weekend and they couldn't of come at a worse time!
What are some quick and easy home remedies which can reduce the redness?

Ice wrapped in a tissue or paper towel then applied for 15 or so minutes will help(:
Toothpaste can actually damage your skin.

No toothpaste! It will irritate your skin. Try ice, it will really help and it's only frozen water :D.

Honestly just leave them alone for as long as possible, they will heal themselves.

I agree with Colette, I find when I stop touching mine and trying to get rid of them they get less irritated, therefor there's much less redness and its also way easier to cover with makeup! :)

Put some toothpaste on it before you go to sleep.

Tea Tree Oil works if you don't mind it. Though it can be harsh so if you have sensitive skin, dilute the tea tree oil with water and dab onto the pimple. OR you could put it in your moisturizer. =) Ice works too. It's lessens redness and reduces size.

Take some Advil as directed for a day or so. It is an anti-inflammatory so it will help reduce redness, swelling as well as pain. Also, cold compresses will also reduce swelling, will in turn will help reduce redness.

Also a green tinted concealer will help cut the redness. I like Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda, which includes a concealer with a green undertone (on lower left).
