I have been thinking about investing in an epilator. Are the results the same as waxing? Has anyone tried sugaring? Is it less painful? I just need to find an effective hair removal method that doesn't cost a lot of money. Shaving is also not an option because after years of shaving, a lot of my hair is dark and thick.

I have never tried sugaring, however I have been using an epilator for the last year. I honestly think it's less painful than waxing, I love the results and the fact that I don't have to do it every other day (like shaving) (:
