I think BL needs to create an updated forum rules with examples of posts that are okay and are not. I thought it was pretty black and white but clearly it's not.
My photo of my new makeup artist shirt got deleted because "it didn't adhere to the rules" and I'm unsure why.
I see posts constantly of "Look at my new shoes!" and even pictures of people's kids and dogs on here.
I think an updated post would be beneficial to everyone.

Maybe it wasn't categorized correctly? Did you post it in style?

Antonia S.
I did post it in Style that's why I'm super confused.

@Antonia, you could have placed the post about the "beat face" T-shirt in the wrong category.. was it under style?
posts will get deleted (or moved) not only if they are off-topic, but also if they are in the wrong category.

I don't really care that much to send them an email, but if it was a post asking for advice or something I took forever to type I definitely would. Maybe it was a mistake, thanks for letting me know that's a possibility Rebecca. :-) And yes Kyra I put it in the Style section.

I mean I don't know the official rules, but I do know that Beautylish will delete anything that isn't beneficial to our community. Maybe post the photo in the Photo section instead of the Talk forum because then it'll be less likely to be deleted. Good luck 💋 hope they comment cause I'd love to know too.

Antonia from my understanding your posted photo of your shirt got deleted or did you make a thread for it?

Hi Antonia,
I've located your post and un-deleted it. It may have been deleted as to how younger users not knowing the phrase meaning taking it the wrong way but after a second evaluation, we decided to keep it -- actually, it's a pretty awesome shirt! <3

It's happened to me too.. I feel like theirs rules are kind of vague so it makes it hard to know exactly why it gets deleted.-.
