So I heard if you mix water and baking soda to make a paste, it can be used as a facial mask to get rid of acne. Have any of you tried it?

I use it to exfoliate and it works wonders. I've tried the mask 3 times and the 3rd time, it burned my face and left my skin raw.

I've read this diy before too and tried it. It didn't do anything for me. It's meant to lighten acne scars which I understand why they say that, but all the paste did was crumble and make my skin feel powdery which I didn't like. There are better acne diys out there.
