Which do you prefer for your makeup brushes? After washing a few of my MAC brushes, I realized how much I love real hair for my brushes. The synthetic for whatever reason seem so much more difficult to wash/dry. Also, I really noticed a difference in application the real hair seems to come off so flawless in comparison to a majority of my synthetic fiber brushes.

Between the two, which do you prefer and why?

Well I use synthetic for foundation concealer my gel liner and for my creamy shadows. Then I use real for shadows powders and blush I do agree that the synthetic are harder to wash so its 50/50 since they both have their own uses

Thank you for your opinion :) I use a synthetic brush for my foundation too and I feel like it sucks all of it up quick

Synthetic all the way.. I'm sorry but the thought of an animal's hair on my face I cannot deal with... I'm a supporter of cruelty free products..

I can't tell a difference with my brushes :/ I wish I did I have mostly coastal scents so I don't know if they are real or not

I like both. Uhmm I may favor my synthetic ones just a tad more. I have used the Eco Tools makeup brushes and those are so underrated! They are such amazing brushes! They're synthetic and the softest ones I've used, softer than the real hair and I feel like I use less powder products because the synthetic fibers really go from fiber to skin. What people don't realize is hair is quite absorbent. I've heard they use hair to clean up oil spills or something. I mean if you look at the hair shaft it is slightly open and I could see how it may be absorbent and synthetic hair doesn't have the whole cortex and all of that. The Eco tools brand has brushes that are very good quality and quite cheap and they aren't flimsy like other synthetic brushes
