I know the usual results from Bantu knots, but my hair isn't Afro textured. It's just long, thick, and slightly wavy. If I only did two or three knots for my whole head, could they turn into waves instead or tight curls?

Yes! I have natural hair and so my hair comes out in curls...my sister doesn't and she uses bantu and hers come out in waves...so yes you can do that.

How do you do Bantu knots? I want to try them.

You take a section of hairn and twist it until it starts to twist in on itself (you'll know what I mean when you try it.) Then it should fold in on itself to make these little knots. Just tie it off and sleep on it:)

Honestly no. I'm absolutely against Bantu knots. They are so unpredictable. You never know what kind of curls you're going to get. They come out wild and frizzy sometimes. I would go with more consistent methods like a braid out or flexirods.

It would be quite curly, definitely not beach waves. I'd only do one bantu knot for beach waves:)

Try just one out one night and then take a shower to get it out, keep experimenting to see if you like it, and once you perfect hit, wear it!
