My friend use to have curly hair but she started straightening it a lot and now it's like waves...she tried everything from mousse to scrunching with or without a towel and other products. How can we get her healthy hair back?

Try to have her start co washing her hair about twice a week and a deep conditioner every other week. Also have her find a style- heat or no heat. that she only has to touch up once a week and can fill with dry shampoo. ( like straighten it. then over tine do updos or head bands for the week).

My friend used to have very curly hair (almost like an afro) and he straightened it one time and it was pin straight forever after that. It's weird how different people's hair react to heat. I would recommend trying a protein filler.
