So my hair needs a cut...I know this. I haven't had a cut in over a year and my ends are split city. I find that every time I get a hair cut, I lose my tattered ends and my wavy curls don't forum the same way for months.
Is there something I can ask for to get uneven ends instead of just having a straight across all the same length? Am I just imagining that my ends look better because I fear how much length I will lose to have healthy hair again? lol Maybe I'm just crazy...
Help please! <3

You can ask them to layer you hair, also you could just them make it look like the hair has grown a little so the the ends don't look like a clean cut. I'm sure they will understand what you are saying
If you keep waiting to get rid of the split ends it just makes more hair to cut off next time so you'll hate it even more then.

Ask for layers & get it trimmed more often. the longer you wait, the worse it gets, which means you're always going to be cutting off a lot if you keep leaving it. try coconut oil as a strengthening treatment.

Ask for ends to be softened/ texturized so it doesn't look as fresh/ blunt!

Ya there is a name for the v-cut it might be point cut as Lisa mentioned but the hairstylist should know what it means if not then go somewhere else - or just tell them you want a cut to flatter your waves n they should kno what to do.

What Megan said!! Texturizing on the bottom inch or two will let the strands separate into waves and curls. My hair does the same thing. Also expect a week or two for adjustment and you'll be fine😋😜👍👌💋💋
