I've tried everything to help and I really don't want to admit this but I also found out that it's causing dandruff on my scalp. Are there any shampoos to help it go away? Thank you.

I don't have any specific brand to recommend.
... But I once mixed baking soda with my shampoo and washed my hair and it took all the dead skin cells and dandruff away. I have it too, but don't tell anyone. 😉

I have the same problem but I began using a 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water. I simply but it in a spray bottle, wet my scalp, spray the solution on my scalp only, then wait 15 minutes. After, I just rinse it out. Repeat twice a week. Results are great.

Add a bit of tea tree oil (in the vitamin isle) to your favorite shampoo. Sally Generic brand has a great tea tree oil scalp treatment. Boil green tea..let it cool..pour on scalp..let sit 20 minutes and rinse. It kills bacteria and reduces flakes and itching. Don't exceed 20 minutes and test a strand first..but focus on keeping cool tea on the scalp. I use a squeeze bottle with a fine tip from the beauty supply store to ensure proper application.
