Clinique do a really good primer, they do one for all skin types so you could go to a Clinique counter and they could give you one which is best for you :)

ELF cosmetics has a very nice Eyelid Primer, and I am 100% positive it is sold in the UK. The MUA Wayne Goss, one of my inspirations, recommends it, saying that it gets the job done well. It is a slightly more sheer formula than for example, Smashbox Photo Lid Primer, but it works very well. It does a good job of preventing eyeshadow from creasing, and it "richens" the color/pigmentation. It is a personal fave of mine, and I totally say go for it. Plus it is only like 3.00$ in US money..
