I want to dye my hair red and black so I looked up the best hair dyes and got mixed reviews for manic panic some say it's really bad and others love it. Also I read that it doesn't damage hair as much because its made if vegetable oil, but I'm not sure if that's true. Did anyone try it how'd you like it? Thanks!!

Red generally will wash out after one or two washes. The best I found to use that last for a longer time is splat or if you have a salleys go see if they have the loeal hi lift red:) I used them both and love the turn outs

Manic Panic is alright, I've used it countless times, but the results never compare to Special Effects. I would definitely look them up!

Any red you use is likely to fade faster than other colors. If you want RED, you will have to bleach your hair, and it will take lots of upkeep! Be prepared!

I've never used any reds from Manic Panic, but I don't like any of their other colors. I prefer Jerome Russell and Special Effects. You are gonna have to damage your hair in order to get the red to show up; you'll need to bleach it as light as you can.

I've used Vampire Red from Manic Panic. I left it in for like three hours and it lasted a good while.

Oh and I've used Special Effects a few years ago. But I used pink. I had it for About a month and it didn't fade at all.

Use loreal hi light. C: it has hair lightning properties already so you should not have to bleach. It fades into a pretty pink(:
