I've just been using loreal true match foundation. I bought the wrong color once, but it ended up making a nice shadow with my new foundation.

Any foundation or concealer 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone, & with a COOL undertone, will work for contouring (:

I do like the em cosmetics stick. It works well. I also like using the maybelline fit me stick in Cappuccino! Use a light hand or it can be a little too much.

I just tried something new literally 30 mins ago and I am in love.
La Girl Pro Concelear in the color "Almond." I had it in my kit as an actual concealer for darker skinned girls but I just tried it out as a contour for my and it's amazing.
You can use the tube to apply it because it has a little "brush." And then I just blend it out with a bigger face brush.
It's not exactly "drugstore" but you can get it at your local beauty supply store. I don't know if Sally's has it but I know for a fact it's at a lot of Asian owned beauty supply stores. I got mine for only $2.99. 😊

Use a foundation for it if liquid. It's Easyer. Highlight IMF needs to be 2 shades lighter count our 1 shade darker.

What kyra said :) & do not use bronzer for contouring. that is NOT what it's for.

@Lili I use bronzer for contouring at times. It doesn't look bad. Not everyone uses makeup for what it's meant for. I've heard of people use eye shadows as lipstick. I also use foundation as a primer to put lipstick on. Sometimes I use shimmery eye shadow to highlight my cheek bones. I put hairspray on my eyebrows instead of using a clear gel. Everyone has their own different ideas.

Bronzer doesn't give the effect contouring is supposed to give because it is the completely wrong product. bronzer warms up the face. contouring you use cool shades. I can post what Jacqueline, a moderator & make up artist, said to explain why it should not be used. :)
