So my skin is what I'd call crazy and dysfunctional. I'd say my skin is more on the combo to dry, and I mean lately it's dry and just a painful mess. I have spoken to estiticians, a make up artist at ulta and I've gathered some thoughts but they haven't really helped me with what I've been really asking for so I'll just hope someone here will give me good alternatives, I am looking for a cleanser that isn't drying and a moisturizer that's hydrating but won't make my skin turn oily.

CeraVe or Philosophy purity wash. CeraVe moisturizer. I have incredibly sensitive skin and both have been lifesavers this winter.

I've beenb using cerave for about 2 weeks and it has been a life saver!! I had dry patches that were cracked and burning on my face because of a mask that I tried and also have acne problems and its helped soo much. I use the cerave cleanser and moisturizer.

Like I've been using the dermalogica clean start because it was used during a facial and I bought the sample pack and it just is not for my skin at all, way too drying and not moisturizing at all, I do like the cleanser and toner it's nice and it benefits my skin but I'm not ok with the fact my skin is a dry flaky mess. So I need something else, haha. It just bothers me that a professional is going to use something like that on me when clearly you can tell I don't produce a lot of oil. Then sell it to me, I mean hey I bought it but it's like I'd trust In a pro to see my concerns and guide me to produce that will benefit my needs, instead of being too busy worrying about their commission.

Thank you guys, I've personally being shedding out the money on products cuz I want to protect my skin and drugstore products just don't cut it sometimes, atleast with my terribly sensitive skin. But if you guys truly feel it can help than I'll try it cuz I'm desperate haha.

I've also been thinking about the pur minerals skin care line and the dermalogica ultra calming line. It was as well recommended to me and I know the cleanser for the ultra calming line is amazing cuz it was used on me before but it's just so ridiculously expensive

I would suggest seeing a dermatologist, rather than trying a bunch of products and wasting money. There are lots of reasons you could be experiencing the dryness and sensitivity, and a doctor that specializes in skin issues is best to get to the root of the problem.
I'm not knocking estheticians, but seeing a medical professional will likely give you better results in your case.

Melissa try special cleansing gel from Dermalogica. The ulta calming line is good but it's more for sensitive skin and the clean start line it for teens.
