I've never done a winged eyeliner before but today my had slipped when I was lining my lower lash line and I decided to keep it. Does it look correct?

You have the correct concept. The only things your need to do are clean it up and just practice until your hand is steady and comfortable with the application.
When I first started using gel liners, with an angled brush, I would rest my hand on my forehead with the brush held downward, crazy I know, but it helped me get a feel for where the liner needed to go. Ana C's pictorial is a very good one. I personally do my lid first then add a wing, but over time you will develop your own preferences for how you like to apply it. Just try and keep a calm steady hand, to help you achieve a smooth defined line.

When you mess up, if it is just a little stumble, you can try taking a cotton swab and dipping it in makeup remover to only rub it on the part. However if it is a bigger more noticeable mistake, I suggest just starting over, it gives you the chance to get it perfect the next time...

For your first try it is very very nice. Two thumbs up!!:))) lots of live doll, just remember that practice makes perfect!

I agree with everything these dolls said. also maybe for your eye shadow I'd blend the crease colour or add in a transition shade under. maybe also don't extend it so much into the inner eye or blend more. looks good for a first try, a lot better than me!

For a first time its pretty good. I would wing the liner out a bit more those and blend inside the corners a bit more.

Hooray for transforming a slip into a positive! Kudos for that! The rest will come with practice!

When it comes to makeup you can honestly do whatever the hell you want but it's your audience that needs convincing. My philosophy is standing out but fitting it. If you have a line that might be a tad out of place instead of erasing and trying the whole thing over why don't you work with it and just see what happens. That's when the true make up artist comes out. "Even when you mess up it looks like you meant to do that"

I actually like it the way it is. I think it gives your eye a sweet rounder look. I think make up is about effect as a whole and not so much attention to details. I think you are rocking it. Plus, you have almond eyes, and those guys are not easy to work with.
