I'm so sorry that's is awful, I would start buying what you used on a daily basis (foundation, mascara, etc) then expand from there.

I suggest like Mae, to begin with your everyday essentials. Mascara, liner, foundation ECT! Is you need shadows, try wet n wild! It's cheap, and great quality!

If it was taken from your vehicle, you may be able to be reimbursed by your insurance with a police report...depending on your policy and receipt records. I would view this as an opportunity to invest in select, high quality items rather than bulk up on cheaper products. I'd get a concealer and foundation palette...a Lorac Pro or other eye palette both naturals and jeweled tones...the same for your blushes as a palettes will offer you versatility..grab a few key brushes..technique beauty blender dupe...

Wow so sorry Hun, you should definitely try to get it reimbursed. Also for future reference you can get insurance for your kit.. Jeez that's just horrible...

Definitely file a police report. I'm not sure, but I think if it was worth more than $2k that counts as felony grand theft, so you should be able to get reimbursed through your insurance (either car or home).

Hi Madysen- I worked for an insurance company for several years. Generally your car policy won't have any coverage for personal property but if you have a homeowners or renters policy you can check in to filing a claim. I'm not sure what your deductible is but hopefully you can regain some of the loss. So sorry!

I have insurance for personal property. Policies vary as does situation. In any regard, it never hurts to ask.

You can take out insurance on your kit by itself I believe. Or that's what they told us in school lol I havent looked into all the workings of it yet (because I simply don't have the money to spare at the moment) But I'd look into that for the future. I'm sorry that happened, I would be devastated.
