I currently got some ole henriksen products from sephora and they are ok but not my favorite... I'm looking for a whole night time routine face cleanser, hydrating mask, exfoliator, eye cream, moisturizer exct. Any lines of products you all recommend?? To give you an idea I have dry skin with dry patches sometimes, acne prone, kinda sensitive, some acne scars... I was looking into first aide, philosophy and murad (seems expensive)... Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks:)

For cleanser and moisturizers I'd say try cerave. they are cheap enough and work well. for an exfoliating try the alpha hydrox line they have great glycolic treatments that will help w acne and scaring. eye cream try clinique all about eyes. those are all you can get at a drug store or sephora. another line to consider is paulas choice (mail order) they have absolutely everything from AHAs to cleansers. if you write or call them they will recommend products for your specific concerns. it really is a great line

I'm a philosophy fan. Its been a miracle for my skin. But everyone has different skin. Maybe investing in a smaller trial series of them to see if you like it may be worth it.

I haven't had any problems with Murad. Expensive, yes; but it lasts me like 6 months!! (3 if hubby uses it too). I use the green clearing gel one with my clairsonic. I also use Murad night perfecting moisturizer at night (purple label) and the Essential C moisturizer with SPF during the day.

I have yet to find an eye cream worth investing in...

If I were to try something as it would try the Mario Bedescu products. Seems like a lot of YouTube beauty gurus like his products. Philosophy just seems a little out of my price range.

Thanks for your ideas... I was thinking of trying small sizes of something first... Before investing in something!

That's always a great way to go Mandi. that's how I got hooked on Paulas choice she sells small sample sizes for 1-3$ a piece. Dr Brandt offered that at one time too (not sure if they still do) higher prices but gave more of a travel size. I wish more lines did the same

Skinceuticals has changed my life and my skin! I have combo skin and acne prone. I use the LHA cleanser and the daily moisture cream. I also use their pigment corrector for dark spots. I can't say enough good things!!

Before bed use a gentle organic (alcohol-free) gel cleanser that has salicylic acid (like Boscia Botanical Blast or Eileen Mai). Follow with an alcohol-free toner in trouble spots & t-zone. In the morning I gently rinse my face with med-cool water, and then again with ice cold water. I apply a thin layer of organic (alcohol-free) aloe vera gel as moisturizer (before applying makeup) like Anita Grant's organic aloe vera gel, or Earth Science Fragrance-Free Almond Aloe moisturizer. Make sure all your makeup is non-comedogenic. (Jane Iredale skincare & cosmetics has some great options). The less stuff you cake on your face the better (your pores need to breathe). Throughout the day use Boscia green tea blotting linens to soak up excess oil (instead of powders.) Other recommended products are Michael Todd's organic line (esp the Charcoal Detox gel cleanser, as well as the Wild Berry Skin Peel). Astara's Blue Flame Purification Mask is great, and works for spot treatments as well. Tracie Martyn Amla Purifying Cleanser is also a good quality (high end) cleanser. Exfoliate no more than 2-3x a week (my skin is oily, so I make sure my regular cleanser has some fruit acids/AHAs in it to keep my pores clear). But overall you should really not be washing your face more than twice a day (after workouts you should though). (Overwashing can dry out or irritate your skin.) Make sure to get all your makeup off (completely) at night so pores can breathe. I have an air purifier in my bedroom that helps keep the air clean, and wash your pillowcase often (to prevent smushing bacteria into your face while you sleep). Incorporate more organic fresh fruits & veggies into your diet, as well as green tea and water. Cut back on artificial sugars, peanuts and dairy (all of which can trigger or worsen acne). Use olive oil instead of butter when cooking. I also take a Vitamin C, Zinc and Astaxanthin supplement daily. Never touch your face with dirty hands, and wipe off your phone with an anti-bacterial wipe regularly.

Origins! I love their stuff. They have stuff for almost everyone. Eye creams, dry skin creams, masks, acne products. I have only recently discovered them so I only have tried a couple things but I really like what I've tried so far. Philosophy is also good too.

My favorites from Origins:
- Clear Improvements Charcoal mask (great for blackheads and acne but can be a bit drying at times. It's potent when you need it though)
- A Perfect World Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea and SPF 25 (Great daily moisturizer, not greasy or oily. They have it without SPF as well.)
- Night-A-Mins (a really thick night cream. very hydrating)

Philosophy faves:
- Purity Made Simple cleanser (Very gentle but deep cleans very well)
- Clear Days Ahead Spot Treatment (I use it more like a serum, all over and it works wonders, I don't really buy it anymore because it doesn't seem to last very long even when I use it just on spots. But it definitely did work.)
- Clear Days Ahead Acne Treatment Lotion (Moisturizes very well but keeps oil away and helps treat/prevent breakouts. The size is pretty small as well though which is the only reason I stopped using it.)
- Take A Deep Breath Oxygen Gel moisturizer (I love the consistency of this moisturizer. It's very hydrating, but light and doesn't clog pores or feel thick on the skin.)
- Hope In A Jar moisturizer (I have kind of gotten over my initial hype with this sadly, the oxygen gel moisturizer has sort of taken it's place lol. But it's still a very good light yet super hydrating moisturizer.)
