Wear a dress, or comfy shorts. do nooooot wear something tight it will rub against your fresh tattoo and hurt like hell lol, you can shave before you go if you want but they will most likely shave a patch of skin where the tattoo will be anyways, everything after the tattoo your artist will imform you about.

Yeah wear something loose, something like Shelby or Lili said. I would just do your normal routine. After care is different. Wash the tattoo 1-3 times daily with antibacterial soap, apply an antibacterial ointment 1-3 times daily for 3-5 days or when it seems to be drying out, (don't pick the scabs/flakes, you could pull the ink out and mess the tattoo up) after that start applying a fragrance free lotion that doesn't contain glitter for around 2 weeks. :)

I would wear something loose so it doesn't rub against the tattoo after. like Shelby said, you can shave if you want. but they will shave your thigh anyways, whether you have or not.

I'd wear those cotton/ soft material shorts and if its cold I'd wear them under a tracksuit or boy shorts. You need loose non restrictive clothing that can come on and off really easy. Always shave either the night before or the morning of , its too mortifying if they have to shave your legs for you. Don't moisturise or put anything on he's just going to be wiping it all off when they sterilise it beforehand. Um tips... Hmm.. Buy some cling film, medical tape and bepanthem. You will need these for the first few days. And invest in 2-5 pairs of 100% cotton pants (if you can't find any try and get the highest cotton count you can find). If you want I can explain how I cared for all of mine.

I didn't mean you can wear the shorts under boy shorts I meant you could wear boy shorts if you didn't have any cotton shorts haha.

The girls are right wear something comfy. Don't worry about shaving, if it's too much hair the tattoo artist will shave it.

Wear a dress as far as perping I wouldnt even worry about it cuz regardless if you shave or not they are going to shave you in the shop in order to get u ready and you don't need to moisturize either cuz they will remove it in order to disinfect the area

I wore shorts, but they were loose, and cotton. A dress or skirt night not be good depending on how the artist has you sitting/laying.

Something loose, I wore a dress and it was easy peasy. don't worry about shaving, and be sure to eat before your appointment, and that you feel in full health! I was sick when I got my chest/shoukd piece done, and ended up puking the whole way home on the bus. Not good!

Thanks for the tips, I'm thinking that depending on weather I'll do a dress/skirt.
