My skin is super dry, so I use a face oil then a moisturizer, then a balm. For oil, I like Argan or cauldelie divine oil (use the latter sparingly as its highly perfumed). Moisturizer, I loooove philosophy Hope in a Jar for dry skin. I've been using it for years, and it's my all time fave moisturizer. And I just discovered a cool new product, Josie Maran argan balm. It's like Chapstick for your face. I put on a layer over everything to lock in the moisture.

Clinique is good, or Mary Kay for really dry spots.. I have to look up the name for you but I love it. It's purple and a gel.

use a hydrating serum 1st and then a rich moisturising cream rather than fluid. eucerin replenishing cream is fab for dry skins especially if flakey.

It's vital to exfoliate, at least twice a week: if there's flaky skin in the skin, moisturizing will not reach down to the skin.

A really good one for your body is the Nivea Creme. It comes in a beautiful blue glass jar. Really thick, but sinks in well.

Try grape seed oil...the only thing that helps my skin through the ugly/flaky Retin A stages (worked better for me than Ole Hendriksen, or Josie Maran oil, even La Mer), and the only thing to clear my friend's severe eczema under her eyes. Google it, many swear by it, Emma Stone, etc.
