I think it also depends on your skin tone and both will look pretty on you! Gaeity looks very natural on my skin and I love tht! I don't own it though,my cousin does and I tried it and I'm in love with it. :)

I have both and feel the Desire works better for a medium skin tone. Gaiety is quite pale.

I'd go with gaiety, it's been on my wish list for forever! I already have desire and I really like it but I have to be careful because it is so pigmented and I'm pretty light skinned. You need both! Lol!!

Desire. Because its more pigmented, you can sheer it out so its natural or go a little heavier for nighttime. With Gaiety, it seems you wouldn't get as much versatilty out of it. Some lighter shades can start to look chalky if you try to add too many layers for more color payoff.
