I think that's an inherited thing, there's myths about 'different areas of acne mean different problems with your body' but I don't think that's true.
Some people only get acne on their jawline, and the rest of their face is fine. Could be the extra oil in certain spots. Personally I'm the same as you, only on the chin and forehead. I don't believe it's any specific reason, except for extra sebum production!

Well I know for myself that the face charts are pretty accurate for myself. I honesty think you are just having hormonal breakouts or maybe from stress, I know thats why I am having this same issue. Now since you mentioned the depo-...
shot I would say that is probably causing it too. It will probably even out so, but your body is most likely reacting to that. Since you have to wait until April, I think you should definitely try Murad (I really like the toner) or Boisca; and some of the Body Shop masks are good.

I think you are considering Accutane? I just wanted to tell you that it does make your skin scars disappear and all the acne too, for the while you're taking it, but it just doesn't do that forever. You could browse the internet about people having acne post Accutane stoppage, so its not a permanent solution, when I was on it I had really bad depression, I was depressive earlier too, but Accutane made it real worse. Anyway, I am sorry you are allergic to pills, acne is so distressing. I have tried everything I could too, but still the few zits..grrr. Maybe all of us acne prone girls should get a blog where we could vent frustration and discuss what all we tried. With you in this.?

Have you tried a peel applied solely to the areas you are experiencing breakouts in? A derm may suggest a topical retinoid, which is highly effective when battling specific areas rather than the entire face. Although they are drying and require lots of SPF, you should see results rapidly. Since you already battle dry skin, I'm certain you know natural oil would counter retinoid dryness. People often get it and go gonzo not realizing how powerful it is. I was also wondering if you may be experiencing dermatitis. It is often brought on by stress. I'd incorporate green tea into my diet. It is a great antiinflammatory and detox drug-free way to boost not only your health, but hopefully elevate your spirits. I spent high school suffering horribly from psoriasis. I know it is so difficult. As I got older, it improved and now I have but a few areas that I still must treat daily. Sometimes, hormones just wreak havoc. This too shall pass. Good luck at the derm. :)

That sucks! That suprises me that burned your skin, because mine is super sensitive. Sorry but its not going to get better until you get something for your skin... The Body Shop is good and cheap.
