I just got my Birchbox today! I got Birchbox 7 , and I posted what I got on my blog: http://fairytale-charm.blogspot.com/ :) I don't love it, but I'm not ready to give up on it either, especially since I've loved the past couple boxes.

Ugh. I still don't have mine! I am hoping I will get it tomorrow, USPS got it on the 13th, so it makes sense that I will get it this week. If not, I am going to raise some hell! :) lmbo.

My box FINALLY arrived in Seattle. It only took five days and it'll probably take another three to actually get to me. So much for it being priority shipping. Birchbox really needs to dump Streamlite.

I got my BirchBox and like many others... it was pretty disappointing. I think i'll give it another month but half of the products in my box are going straight into the trash... =/

I got my August Birchbox and it was missing the mascara, so I emailed them telling them to be more careful about sending out faulty boxes!!! Long story short the wrote back to me and I am receiving a new birchbox as we speak!!! I think they r a great company!!! <3

I just watched your video Nancy-Lee and I was surprised to find that you got the same box that someone else was disapointed with. I guess its how you spin it. Optimism is great.

Jalaina, I'm always excited when I get new or free stuff.
Once the initial excitement wore off, I only used 2 of the 5 items - (I didn't even know there was a 5th) I like the mask and the razor burn gel. I do not have curly hair, so I'm not going to use the Quidad and I hate the Smashbox primer. (I'm so mad I said it was my fave because it totally isn't. NARS is my fave.)
From now on I won't open the box on camera so I can calm down and speak how I really feel about it's contents. lol. September's box is only 20 days away!

I won't be receiving my birchbox until today or tomorrow (sad face) I wish they would provide faster shipping to ppl on the west coast. I usually have to wait 10 business days for mine to arrive. Oh well... that is the price to pay for something that you love :D

My box came today. It's labeled as AUGBB1 but the contents actually were for AUGBB3. Kind of disappointed since BB1 had the Smashbox Primer. Oh well, there's always next month! LOL

I've been watching a lot of videos by bigger YT'ers on them, because I think Birchbox videos are fun to watch & I'm amazed to see all of these people who go on these rants saying "This is horrid, it's terrible, NEVER AGAIN - GARBAGE" just because it didn't have NARS, or something like that.
You're paying $4 for these boxes... what else do you expect? I don't understand why so many people are complete negative nancy's about it. I would love to have all of these samples just because they're something new to try. Isn't that why you get them in general? Or do you just not understand - somebody actually said, "I'll be happy when I get a few full sized products in my box because this is crap" Wow. It's a great service, people are just so mean about it D:

Yeah, but the rest of the $10 is for shipping. I believe the boxes are only 4.
& I haven't subscribed because I'm a student where every penny counts, plus my bf would kill me. :( lol I WISH I could though. I would have a blast with these!

ohh, I see. I never really thought about it like that. This was just my first box though, and I was happy with it, I am happy with any samples! :) It's just fun to get in the mail and see what is inside! :) I hear you though, I am also a student, I just got lucky and was able to convince my boyfriend to let me get it! - I might have been a little sneaky about it! :) lmbo.

That's my thinking, that's how I get hooked to products - plus the fact that some of those sample sizes are very generous must be nice too!
Is your bf very anti-makeup as well? Mine understands my makeup obsession but hates all the money I put into it. He's always like -_- "Whyyy do you need that?!"
