What's YOUR brow care routine?

Hi :] So what's your brow care routine? As in, when do you pluck, or wax or whatever, and how often? And then do you do anything to them in the morning?

I pluck them (deeply) every week and spot-pluck them at night after I wash my face. (OH! Quick tip - if you pluck RIGHT after you take a long shower and your face is really wet, it won't hurt at all.) in the morning, I will fill them in with a chocolate brown shadow. Then I use a little eyebrow shaver on the top part right above my brow. :] that is all. On a side note, what tweezers do you use? I use the Revlon ones. :]

I'm very lazy when it comes to my eye brows haha, but I do the job when it's needed.

I'll usually pluck them, but only the bottom hairs, but ones on top I let grow because my mother told me in case I ever over-pluck, they'll be back up (or something like that). Then I trim my brows using a brow/lash comb and nail scissors. I don't fill in my brows because they are already dark and I have blonde hair, so it would look very unflattering on me.

I get my eyebrows waxed, plucked, and trimmed every two weeks. I rarely do my own eyebrows because I am just horrible at it. I need to do better at it because we are military and I hate the search for someone new. My eyebrows always look best when I go back home, lol.

I get my eyebrows waxed or threaded every week and a half or so. There they usually trim them and to avoid redness or wrinkling they use a green tea wax on me. It's AMAZING! I usually pluck my eyebrows every other day after I shower and I don't fill them in because if you look at my pictures, I already have very thick & defined brows.

I get my brows threaded every 3-4 weeks, I'd like to go more often but my schedule is so tight that I have to carve out time to go. I could never do them evenly on my own because my brows are so thick so I only trust professionals. I used to wax but threading lasts longer.

I usually do my own eyebrows and that is every week with maintenance in between. Eyebrows frame the face and let me tell you that when you don't stay on top of them you will definitely notice.

I threaded my own eyebrows and upper lip for the first last night. OMG LADIES DON'T PAY FOR THIS! It's so simple all you need a piece regular old thread and that's it! It's a little tricky to figure out how to move your hands but once you get the hang of it, it works so well! Just look up some youtube vids, I can't believe I use to pay for it...never again!

I pluck my eyebrows once a week. In the morning, I fill them in with a mix of a dark brown and medium brown eyeshadow. For tweezers, I use a angled revlon one and a pointed one from walmart (I forgot the brand name).

Just completely regrew & remodeled my brows so they're 10x thicker than they used to be. I need to update my photos soon!

I JUST started plucking. I used to shave - yep, shave, my brows. I learned my way with the razor, lol. I pluck every week, & do touch ups every few days since I have thick Salvadorian/Mexican/Iranian hair D:

Most of my brow shape comes with makeup though. I shape & sharpen them with powder, fill in with pencil & set with powder. Pretty easy & it gets the job done. :)

I have never once done anything to my eyebrows! I have extremely thin eyebrows and they are very light. I do however have a maybelline brow shadow type thing that I fill them in with and shape them that way! I honestly felt left out when all of my friends started tweezing and waxing their brows.

I tweeze whenever I feel the need to and I give them a good trim every few weeks with my angled brow scissors from Sephora... [I think Japonesque has one similar and much cheaper though] they make a world of difference because you can actually SEE what you're doing VS. having a pair of scissors and a fist in your way.

I use my Tweezerman tweezers, and I love them to pieces. I've had numerous ones, and the Tweezerman ones get the job done w/o stressing my hands after prolonged periods of use and they grip just right to dig out any ingrowns. The slanted tip is sharp and thin enough to do precision work and I don't feel like I have to rip out a bunch of unintended hairs to get to the one I want to pull out.

I grew out my brows last December, and MOST of it has grown in thick and shapely. The thicker area where it starts still has a small patch on each brow, but I'm hoping those fill in soon. Nothing that can't be remedied with a good brow pencil and shadow.

I am tempted to try MUFE's brow correcter or a MAC fluidline to fill them in though... anyone try this?

andrea f.- your brows are freakin GORGEOUS! I love thick brows like yours! i'm trying to make mine thicker, although i've always been careful not to overpluck.

andrea g.- post a picture for sure! i'm trying to thicken mine a bit too. :] i love thick brows!

soma- i want to try tweezerman tweezers SO BADDD. but they're so expensive. but i'll probably buy them within the next month because of all the rave :] haha
